How is a Designer Outlet laid out?

Designer Outlets are shopping centres where designer labels are all permanently reduced by up to 60%. Retail brands own their own shops, which look very similar to their shops on the high street. All Designer Outlets offer a high quality shopping environment with all the facilities you would expect to find – car parking, cash points, restaurants and washrooms.

Is it easy to find my way around the centres?

Yes, maps and store guides are provided throughout the Designer Outlets and you can download a store guide here before you go.

What savings can I expect at a Designer Outlet managed by McArthurGlen?

Shoppers can enjoy discounts of up to 60% on all merchandise in our centres all day, every day. During our two sale periods in January and July, discounts on selected merchandise may rise to 70%. And don’t forget to check out the Special Offers page for more great deals.

Why is everything sold at a discount?

Designer Outlets sell excess and end of season merchandise from some of the best-known brands in fashion, sport and homewares, with discounts off high street prices typically sold through stores run by the brands themselves. Any goods that are ‘seconds’ are always clearly marked. See our current Special Offers.

Where can I park?

All of our centres have ample on-site car parks or parking that’s just a short walk away. You can download a map of the Designer Outlet, with the car parks clearly marked. Car parking at all our centres is free, except at Swindon and Ashford where a small charge applies.

Is there somewhere for me to take a break and get a coffee or something to eat?

Yes. See our restaurant, food and drink listings in the food category of the Facilities page.

What facilities do you have for disabled visitors?

All of our centres are wheelchair friendly with fully equipped disabled toilets and easy access to all the shops. Please see our Facilities page for details. Wheelchairs are available for loan; please ask at the Information Desk at the outlet.

Can I buy products online?

We currently do not sell products online.

I am a tourist - can I claim back my VAT at your centres?

VAT refunds are at the individual store's discretion. Each has their own system; just ask in store for details.
